Comments
Comments: Night and day conditions between early morning and end of the day. In the early morning, Liberty Spring Trail and out-and-back on Franconia Ridge over to Flume were in excellent shape with a nice snowshoe track, but I suspect the trail was shredded by the end of the day. The section of Franconia Ridge between Liberty Spring and Little Haystack had seen very little traffic before noontime; myself and 2 others. Snow was 6" to 12" with deeper drifts. Mixed conditions on Franconia Ridge, trace snow, ice and exposed rock, to deeper snow and drifts in places.

Bare-booted the Bike Path, snowshoes all the way to Greenleaf Hut. Had to abandon my snowshoes at Greenleaf Hut because the track had been destroyed, kept rolling my ankles, and snowshoes didn't seem safe, so microsipkes all the way on Old Bridle Path.
