Comments
Comments: We started on jewell trail with snowshoes. In the morning the trail was broken but not totally packed. Once arrived at the tree line, we switched to microspikes. We kept them for the entire trip after. On gulfside trail, few spots were powdery unpacked snow with posthole, but very short sections. Not worth to reswitch to snowshoes. We have always avoided climbing up mount clay, but yesterday was the day to fight the demons. We were disapointed, clay offered the best view of washington gulf. If u can make it, do it!
