Great day to be in the Northerns. Ton's out, the trailheads looked like summer. I didnt get much sleep so only opted for M/A/JQA. BK went on to Jefferson as well. Valley Way is a packed highway. Snowshoes to hut, then switched to spikes. It's only choppy for a little bit and then it gets boney enough that snowshoes became too cumbersome. "broke" out to JQA for Winter TW, I love that little peak! Descended from hut to car in record time, about an hour, due to awesome conditions. I was boot skiing for the majority of it and mildly trail running the rest |
