black flies!!! yay!!! a few buzzing but no biting...a welcome sign of spring |

lots of pretty cascades along the Fields Brook...trail is a bit difficult to follow shortly after the Tate Mtn. Trail junction until the boundary of the Lakes Region Conservation Trust.
all snow is completely gone...very minimal mud
nice red trilliums and yellow violets in bloom
