Comments
Comments: Great day for the Bonds- It was nice to meet a couple of familar hikers on the trail today. The trails were well packed. Due to cold temps last night I was able to bare boot until last water crossing. Between Bondcliff and Mt Bond there were a few very deep boulder traps that one could easily hurt a leg if stepped into.I wore microspikes until the West Bond Spur where I put snowshoes on until returning to Bondcliff as the snowpack was getting soft above treeline. Between Mt Bond and West Bond spur there were some avoidable postholes. Hillary's step on the descent was slippery and ended up sliding down it.
