| Comments: |
A beautiful and windy day up on Carter Dome and Mt Hight. We wore spikes up and regretted it, so changed into snowshoes at the summit and wore them down to the car. The Carter Dome and Carter-Moriah trails both have postholes and mash potato like snow, with slush in many areas of direct sunlight. The snowshoes were awesome on the way down. Snowshoes and warm temps over the next few days might be a good idea for those who have them.
Please don’t follow our footsteps tearing down Mt Hight — we missed the sharp left turn 😠|
