Comments
Comments: Used light traction the whole way; snowshoes went for a ride. Trail is in excellent shape, except Pierce to Jackson via Webster Cliff Trail, which has some postholes but is not too bad. Light traction all the way.

The trail up to Pierce and over to Eisenhower was in excellent shape, as was the section down from Jackson, with well-packed snow where light traction worked great. Based on yesterday's trail report (46358), we brought snowshoes and we were expecting a rough hike between Pierce and Jackson. However, we found that the part between Pierce and Jackson wasn't all that bad. Some sticky spring snow, and some postholes, but the trail was easy to follow and was packed down very well for the most part.
