Black flies would be an issue if it wasn't 6am when I hiked this--they were voracious later in day |

Eagle Cliff trail has one of the nicest trail beds for a NH trail-- mostly dirt and well graded, would be nice for a trail run (minus cliff area). Wildflowers out in .5 miles above Eagle Cliff including hepatica and trout lily (i think) Exceptionally dry trail. Teedie trail was actually fairy nice without leaves on way down giving peak a boo veiws that won't be there later. Road walk short. |
