|
| | Date of Hike: | Sunday, March 22, 2020 | | | | | Parking/Access Road Notes: | Parked by gate. Only 2 other cars when we arrived at 10:20, but when we came out at 2, there were many cars up the road and in front of the gate. | | | | | Surface Conditions: | Dry Trail, Ice - Black, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Ice - Breakable Crust, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Stable), Snow/Ice - Small Patches | | | | | Recommended Equipment: | Light Traction | | | | | Water Crossing Notes: | | | | | | Trail Maintenance Notes: | | | | | | Dog-Related Notes: | Our dog did fine. Several dogs on trail. Most were leashed. | | | | | Bugs: | | | | | | Lost and Found: | Someone left a pile of orange peels, napkin and snack wrapper on the peak. I picked up a Mountain Dew bottle with gum and cigarette butts in it on the way down. It's a shame that there are people who enjoy places like this, but then trash them for the people that follow them. | | |

| | | | Comments: | Microspikes definitely needed. There was ice covering the majority of the trail and difficult to bypass. My microspikes are getting dull and I was sliding on the ice. Lots of people were bushwacking around it. Peak is clear of ice. | | | | | Name: | Belinda | | | | | E-Mail: | | | | | | Date Submitted: | 2020-03-22 | | | | | Link: | https:// | | | | Disclaimer: Reports are not verified - conditions may vary.
