Comments
Comments: Pretty much followed combinations of previous reports. We parked at the gated end of Quinttown Road about .2 miles from the AT. Walked up the road to Primary Snowmobile road 154 and where it turns sharp north we entered the open woods to Black Hill. We encountered about 200 meters of scrappy woods about .1 from the summit. Finding the recognized high point we then headed southeasterly to another Snomo trail, Corridor 5, and followed this South around Rocky Pond where we entered the open woods to Lampier Hill - East Peak. Leaving the recognized high point we then dropped to the col between the 2 Lampier Hills and then straight up to Lampier Hill. From this summit we dropped down to Corridor 5 on the West side of LH and headed back to the trucks. It was an excellent day under fantastic conditions.
Packed Snomo trails,
Woods consolidated snow
We carried our snowshoes the whole day.
Thanks Bill C for the company.
