From vehicle, walked down snomoed East Inlet Rd and crossed bridge. On the E side of the river, in order to avoid the horseshoe route of East Inlet Rd., we followed an unofficial snomo path going E on an overgrown logging road. Approx 500' from hitting East Inlet Rd. the snomoed path turned S. At this point we bw E to East Inlet Rd., now identified as corridor 145, emerging near the dam. Followed corridor 145 to a point NW of the peak where we started short bw to the recognized highpoint. Followed tracks back to the vehicle. Met 2 trail groomers on the way back.
surface conditions on 100% snow cover: snomo trail had a comfortable crunchy surface; no breaking on bw with low flotation snowshoes
vegetation: wide open hard woods
grades: mostly easy; slightly moderate on ascent |
