There were 2-3 other vehicles in the parking area. Lime Kiln road is dirt, but well groomed. |

The log stairs leading from the parking area were icy. After that, the trail was dry for over a mile until the last half mile where light traction was definitely recommended due to unavoidable patches of ice.
I saw one solo hiker and one pair of hikers on the trail, plus one dog-walker near the trailhead. |
