Parking/Access Road Notes

NHDOT has dumped some dirt in it to try and even it out, its better than a few weeks ago. Ravine is open to angle parking

Trail Maintenance Notes: Nothing of note
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: There is one overly aggressive forest chicken (grouse) on the road from the first gate to the second gate, on my way in and out he chased my car. Kind of hilarious to look in my rear view and see her coming at me

Comments
Comments: Started early to avoid the mash potato. A windless day on the Moose! Trail was rough broke and rototilled for a majority of the way by bare booters, who made it to the false summit and abruptly turned around. Trail varies from slush to 8" with blue ice underneath. I broke from false to actual summit. Thankfully, there was 5 people out in snow shoes who helped make a nice trough. But as you would guess, there was about a dozen bare booters on the way down chopping it up again. Was an awesome day on the Moose, though. In customary fashion, I completely bushwhacko'd my way down off Gorge, might have 'accidentaly' ended up in Jobildunk Ravine, ah ah ah. Found lovely woods and some abandoned cooridors.
