Packed snow round trip from the parking lot for the entire route with the exception of a few exposed ledges.
Lower Falling Waters is getting slushy, will most likely turn to ice overnight.
I had crampons on my pack, did not use them. There are numerous spots where light traction is needed (not optional). My Hillsound microspikes were adequate in some spots where Katoolas might not. |
