This is an alternate method to the Dyke road approach to Bronson Hill.
I started on the green diamond trail (Schaller trail?) and immediately the trail started moderately climbing. Shortly before the crossing of a narrow but fast moving stream, I connected to the Orange trail which climbs a sno-mo trail up a amphitheater-like open forest. Bronson Hill is visually obvious from here. Just before the Orange trail rolls left back down the hill, turn right onto a Pink trail, then soon right again onto a Blue trail. Folks who have approached from Dyke road will recognize the trail from here. Bronson Hill is a very easy hill to follow visually, the bushwhack to the summit is short (200 yds?) and comes off the Blue trail at the height of land. You'll see a red taped stick in the woods at the HOL, indicating start bushwhack here. There are No Hunting signs to help find your way back. Jar is red taped hanging from tree.
The conditions were wet sparse grass or thin layer of leaves. There was some water on trail in a couple spots, but easily avoidable, the area is draining fairly well and the footing was pretty good overall. Occasional small patch of snow, but otherwise bare.
