Comments
Comments: AT southbound from Rt 112 Beaver Brook to Rt 25 Glencliff/Townline

Beaver Brook still cold from last night with half inch of snow made microspikes do-able on steep icy sections. Packed trail with 1/2 inch of snow. Used microspikes all the way until last 2 miles of Glencliff which was patchy snow and bare trail - typical rocks and roots, but ground was still cold so not much mud. Bare booted from there.

Great hike! Good visibility, great views and could see the Long Trail in the distance from Killington to Mansfield and beyond. No other hikers except two heading up Glencliff.
