| Comments: |
Very windy and cold at the top, we could only spend a few minutes on the peaks. Much more sheltered and comfortable in the trees.
Beautiful waterfalls on the way back.
Jackson has terrific views of the Presidential range, Webster has great views of Crawford Notch and the Willey Range across. If you're hiking Jackson, it only adds one mile to go over to Webster and enjoy the views.
The trail from Jackson to Webster (Webster Cliffs Trail) isn't well marked, and navigation was occasionally confusing. But you can see the top of Webster from Jackson, so head that direction.
