Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: The hikers lot at Gilson Pond was chained, "No Parking". The campground is closed, so we parked along the road. When we returned State Park employee was posting the road as "no parking".

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Ice - Blue, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular, Mud - Significant, Snow - Spring Snow

Recommended Equipment: Light Traction 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: One on Birchtoft, could use a small log across, or likely to get wet boots. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Many water bars need cleaning. No blow downs

Dog-Related Notes: No dogs allowed on Monadnock.

Comments
Comments: Birchtoft is wet. Some ice on Spellman, but we were able to get around it. Pumpelly had an ice flow just above the Spellman jct. We should have used MICROspikes here. Otherwise Pumpelly was dry. On Red Spot there was one spot we did put on MICROspikes to get down the ice.
