As we start to see the finish line of this NH 500 Highest List we’ve only ran into one other person while out bushwhacking. So, I guess you can say we’ve been social distancing for a while now.
We started at moderate grade heading northeast u a woods road, keep moving forward as crossed an intersection with another wood’s road headed to Lake Constance, crossed a few beaver ponds in progress. At about 1400 feet of elevation and as the road drops we started bushwhacking in nice woods north northeast towards the southeast side of the peak to avoid some steep stuff. We ran into several large stacked piles of rocks along the way down low. The wood were fairly open as we picked few old woods along the way. We then popped out to a new woods road turning northwest to the summit. After signing in we retraced our steps back to the truck.
Nice quick bushwhack avoiding the rain that hit before and after.
