Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: At the tiny trailhead for Luti Loop on Oak Hill Rd. in Concord. It was full so I parked roadside.

Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All crossed on footbridges.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The only issue I noted is trail name inconsistency. New city-erected signage doesn't match up with their own map or older signage still in the field (Ovenbird Scuttle vs. Ovenbird Trail, for example).
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Sure. I met Petra today who was very sweet.
Bugs
Bugs: Too chilly today.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Nothing.

Comments
Comments: With the 5th edition of the AMC southern guide going to press any second now, it's a good time to get going on the 6th edition (2025), so I walked several trails here that I didn't have data on.

This was a meandering route with some backtracking, but by sticking to mostly side trails, I avoided the main traffic on Tower Trail; I was only on that for a short section.

Ok views from Oak Hill Vista and Swope Slope Vista due to the overcast. The vernal pools along Krupa Loop are hoppin' with wood frogs right now!
