| Comments: |
Trail to Webster Cliff trail intersection is a packed superhighway. At this point the trails leading to Eisenhower and Monroe are postholed in places but still generally solid with varying snow depths of a trace to several feet where drifts have occurred. At upper elevations there is a mix of bare and ice covered rocks. I met five hikers during this hike all practicing social distancing-was nice to see one other with a covered face. This is the new reality for now. I was able to use micros for entire hike but glad I had crampons and snowshoes just in case. Lower levels of Crawford Path had small amount slush towards the aftenoon |
