Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: None on either trail other than a large puddle or two to negotiate on William Furber Ferry Trail.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The trails are unblazed but obvious. Peverly Pond Trail is along a board walk for its entirety which is cool. Hard to social distance on it without getting off but the boardwalk was in good shape. No blowdowns. Some very wet and muddy spots on William Furber Ferry Trail but I doubt there’s much they could do about it.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Dogs are not allowed on the William Furber Ferry Trail (there’s a sign) and I don’t believe they’re allowed on the Peverly Pond Trail either. We did see one couple bringing their small leashed dog along as we got back to the beginning of William Furber Ferry.
Bugs
Bugs: None
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: None

Comments
Comments: A nice little southern NH redline. The Peverly Pond Trail starts at the parking lot. The William Furber Ferry Trail starts across the street. The trails aren’t blazed but are obvious and without obstructions. Peverly Pond Trail is a board walk which I liked although it’s hard to social distance on it without getting off the board walk. Both trails had several people on them. Not packed or anything but I didn’t expect it to be that busy. I’m not sure if this is normally the case or not. William Furber Ferry Trail had some big puddles and wet spots as well as significant mud. I wore trail runners and my feet got wet. After yesterday’s sunshine and today’s I imagine they’re better, but I should have worn boots.
