The biggest issue with hiking these days is social distancing. I drove up expecting the place would be like Mt. Major: packed to the gills, but to my relief, at 3:00 p.m. on a weekday, Blue Job was good. I had to pass etc. other hikers maybe three times on the 1.2-mile loop. I was the only one wearing a mask, but everyone respected my desire for distance and stayed away. It was better and safer than the walking trail near my town. (Non-hikers don't have the reflex of dropping into single file.) |
