Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Water is too high right now at Brackett Brook which is about 1.7 miles on the trail. There is no clear way to cross because the snow melt; you could wade across if you wanted but it was snowing and cold.

Trail Maintenance Notes: There is a significant amount of maintenance that needs to be done on this trail with downed trees across the path and trail markers needing to be repainted.

Comments: Appalachian Trail

This is not a spring hiking trail due to the spring snow melt. Brackett Brook is not passible, I had to turn around at around mile 1.7 which was disappointing. I'll try this hike again in the later summer or fall when the water dies down.
