Comments
Comments: Great day to hike these two. Trace amounts of snow and ice at lower levels. Remaining monorail appears at about 1900 ft and was quite solid today was able to wear micros to Mt Crawford and then over to South Knob. Snowpack is still deep where Davis Path continues past Mt Crawford depth ranges from knee to hip deep and is set at quite an angle. The Mt Parker trail became hard to follow after the second set of ledges (viewpoint). I had followed a set of tracks until that point. Beyond that there hasn't been much travel recently. Gaia was very helpful for this. On the return I used snowshoes until the Mt Crawford spur as trail softened up. I passed seven hikers easily keeping a respectful social distance.
