| Comments: |
The trail had trace amounts of snow at lower levels. At approximately 4000 ft had to switch from micros to snowshoes as trail was drifted in with between 8-20 inches of unbroken fresh drifted powder setting at a steep angle. From this point to the summit of Moosilauke and back up to South Peak it is still full on winter complete with high winds and blowing snow. Full winter gear was definitely in use on today's hike. Beautiful bluebird day! |
