Trail in great shape with any icy monrail beginning just outside of the hardwoods. Approximately at 2900 ft the micros went on at this and stayed on until returning to this point. Snowshoes went for a free ride today. At upper levels there is approximately 2 1/2 feet of snow. It was nice chatting briefly with a resident of the road as I walked in and saw two other hikers on return. |
