 | Water Crossing Notes: |
All streams easily rock hop or bridged |
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trails in excellent shape -- a crew has been through and taken out the blowdowns. |
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw about five happy dogs out today. Easy Breezy |
 | Bugs: |
The mosquitoes are bad. Not much wind on lower trails and lots of muddy standing H2O - swarming and aggressive! Luckily poured a canister of lemon eucalyptus repellent over me that kept the mosquitoes hovering and dive bombing but infrequently landing. I did the loop in 2.5 hours largely because the faster I went the fewer bugs could keep up :-) |

 | Comments: |
Nice views halfway up Mt Percival Trail then summit in misty clouds all day. Nice mid 60's temp and no slippery rocks or roots made for a good hiking day. Really summer conditions all throughout the three trails. |
