Comments
Comments: Bare-booted Howker Ridge all the way to summit of Madison and down to Madison Hut. Howker Ridge Trail is almost entirely free of snow - just a few short intermittent patches near tree line. Microspikes on briefy down Valley Way to junction with Upper Bruin.

It was really windy at the summit of Madison this morning. I could barely stand up. Temperatures felt like November or December. Decided to bail on attempting Adams due to the wind, slippery rock, and driving rain/sleet. This is the second time I've had to bail on Adams.
