| Comments: |
Crawford Path was muddy in places as expected. Continuous monorail from about 3900' up to Webster Cliff junction was mostly avoidable but stable enough on this cool day to walk on as needed. Between Pierce and Ike there was mostly bare trail, some manageable monorail and some minor ice. Loop up Eisenhower was clear of snow and ice. We bare booted easily all day.
Wonderful hike with Chris. Graupel was falling on and off throughout the hike but there was plenty of sun and the clouds were beautiful. Alpine azalea, diapensia and Lapland rosebay are all blooming above timberline. C/2 11/48. |
