| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Two other cars at East Pond Trail parking on The Kanc at 9:00, two cars at Tripoli Road parking at 1:30. |

| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
The crossing of Pine Brook was a little challenging. I went about 50 feet downstream to a crossing.
Also two brook crossing on Little East Pond Trail not as bad, but treking poles were handy on all three. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trails were in good shape, a couple blowdowns on Little East Pond Trail, but both easy stepovers. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
No problem for dogs, but none on the trail today. |
| Bugs: |
There was a breeze on most East Pond Trail, the other hikers I met mentioned the bugs, but they never seem to bother me, even when a stop. |
| Lost and Found: |
A lot of garbage, even a cooler, at East Pond Trail parking, but I didn't have a garbage bag to take it away. |

| Comments: |
Thanks to the following hikers that gave me a ride from Tripoli Road parking back to my truck on The Kanc, that saved me 4 miles of retracing my steps. |
