Cool start in the morning, so not too bad. I sprayed myself anyway. |

Toe tripping tree roots! I chose to hike the UNH trail CCW. pay careful attention to foot placement regardless of how you do this trail. lots of fresh yellow blazes. on the way up I passed on other solo hiker...had the summit and all the ledges to myself. a mile into my descent, I stepped off the trail to let 4 hikers and 3 dogs pass. A few more on the way down, but overall not many folks on this 52WAV summit today. |
