Parking/Access Road Notes: Parked at the AMC Lodge.

Surface Conditions: Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Significant

Water Crossing Notes: No issues, all of them are easy 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: 2 decent size blow downs on either side of Orange Mt. One you can kind of walk across/over the other requires a detour off the trail.  
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: No issues and plenty of drinking holes.  
Bugs
Bugs: Pretty bad black flies all around except in the morning and on the summit of Cardigan as there was enough of a breeze. The rain we got for the last hour was kind of a relief, they were real bad around Orange Mt.

Comments: Slippery ledges were the only concern today but no problems. Trails pretty muddy in some spots, black flies were miserable in some areas.
