Davis Path between Stairs Mountain and Isolation needs some love. Numerous downed trees, and it is easy to miss a jog around mile 5.1. |

Over the course of a 3-day backpacking trip (starting Tuesday, 6/16) the black flies and mosquitoes got steadily worse as the weather warmed. |

Social distancing on Mt. Isolation. Beautiful views with clear sunny days. Had to plan water carefully as there were only a few sources along the trail. One other camper at the designated spot on Stairs Mountain. Sadly only encountered one hiker and one backpacker wearing a face mask. Others mostly respected distancing. |
