Comments
Comments: Chose this short hike due to concerns over the weather. Based on sky conditions at the Mizpah Hut, I decided to forego the hike over to Mt Jackson. On descent I heard three rumbles of thunder in the distance but escaped any rain. The cloud ceiling was high enough to view the Presidential Range peaks from Mt Pierce. Saw lots of hikers on the Crawford Path including a boy heading for his first four thousand footer. Saw nobody on the Webster Cliff Trail and the Mizpah Cut-Off.
