The bug-grounding wind was ahead of a nice summer thunderstorm. Columns of rain could be seen approaching by the time I got to Little Monroe, so I called it good and decided not to go over Monroe. Another hiker said water was available at LOC hut, but it is otherwise closed? Got stormed on while hiking back to Edmunds Path. Nice loud thunder and refreshing rain. |
