Comments
Comments: Glad I joined Mike to hike Ice Gulch, a gem of an attraction so nearby--practice for anyone thinking of Mahoosuc Notch. We found plenty of ice and snow, still a chance to post-hole if you didn't get enough of it this winter. This was a great hike on for this hot day. We had fun in the cool gulch scrambling over and under the rocks and playing in the snow. We removed the trees fallen into the path and I am sure the people starting out behind us had a much more pleasurable experience. I can't wait for RMC trail work days to begin again, I fondly remember our work on the Cook Path. This loop using Cook Path, Cutoff and the short road walk was just over 6 miles.
