Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Parked in marked parking area on the right side of Sandwich Notch Road if heading east, just before the bridge. Drove in from that direction but out instead of returning that way, we continued going east toward Mead Base, a much better stretch of road although all is drivable.

Comments
Comments: Walked up Sandwich Notch Road heading east from our parking spot, across the bridge, up the hill to a crescent shaped turnout where we found an unmarked path. Followed it to and through Gilman-Hall cemetery, continuing until we lost it. Heading towards the peak, we dropped down a bit, crossed a wide, dry stream bed the headed up the mountain, moderate to steep grades and clean woods most of the way. Once on the height of land, we crossed several bumps until we reached a survey marker which seemed to correspond with our coordinates. No jar anywhere so we hung one not far from that spot. We continued further Southwest to find the ledges mentioned by Brian Bond. Nice views! Took approximately the same way down except did discover the unlabelled trail on the map near the bottom which took us back to the road right near where we had started. This path was on the right side of the crescent shaped parking area where the path to the cemetery is on the left. Once on the road, it was a short walk to the car.
