| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
1st one in off road lot, 2 other spots available. Plus roadlimited road side parking available. On return one roadside vehicle appeared to still be running, but owners must be on mtn. Odd. |
|
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
|
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Nada. Many nice foot bridges on Ted & Carolyn's trails. Save one crossing, all were nearly bone dry. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Mostly in good shape. Signage is in need of love, as we had minor difficulty finding upper part of Ted's trail.
A few blowdowns are in want of a chainsaw, but I understand the hassle of those. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw 2 medium size pooches with 1 couple. |
|
| Bugs: |
Doesn`t anyone feed these pests? Deet drenching or laser defense system advised if starting early with no wind. Early afternoon was better as wind had picked up, thus grounding the little buggers. |
|
| Lost and Found: |
None seen, none left behind. |

| Comments: |
Nice trail. Much prefer to Wapack. More variety of forest and cascade areas. Certainly quieter, even on a Tuesday. We saw 9 folks the whole time. One group was 1/2 dozen folks.
Weather was hot & humid, as expected, but otherwise it was a beautiful day for a hike. |
