Parking/Access Road Notes: Parked at the train depot. No other cars on arrival approx a dozen on return.

Surface Conditions: Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Slightly elevated but no issue. First crossing has stepping stones ,the second has a sapling bridge 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails overall in great shape. There are five blowdowns on the Avalon trail,four on the Willey Range Trail heading to Mt Willey, and two on the Mt Tom Spur. Willey Range Trail could use a good brushing.

Bugs: heavy showers kept them at bay. Slugs however,were on trees

Comments: Showery hike today but trails in great shape. I met four other hikers. It was nice chatting with the hiker from VT.
