Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Standard summer approach: From Rt. 110 in Stark, drove Paris Road 6.5 north along Phillips Brook. Turned left, passing over a bridge across the brook (bridge has seen better days, keep left as the right side is beginning to rot). Drove 0.5 mi. west/uphill on a rough gravel road (fine in our Subarus). Parked at obvious flat/gravel log landing yard.

Comments
Comments: We knew this might be steep (it was) and there might be a cliff band (there was). So we hiked north along the same gravel road for another 0.1 mi., then popped into the woods and bushwhacked SW'ly, aiming for a point on the ridge to the NW of the summit. Woods were steep but easy to travel through. Ridge walk was a breeze. Obvious high point had a jar and yellow-X.

Another successful and fun hike with friend JEM3.
