This was a bit of an extended loop over both peaks. Despite a crowded parking area, we only saw a few people on the trails. There was no access to the fire tower today as crews were making repairs to the decking. For the descent, we used the informal trail behind the cabin which took us down to Gray Hill Rd., then did a short walk on Second Crown Point Rd. back to the trailhead. Ridiculous humidity today. |
