||Trails in good shape with all blowdowns cleared. Took the BTTR trail which I believe is a bit longer than the service road but is in the shade which was a plus today. Saw Steve the creator of this trail and thanked him for his work. |
Trails were not crowded, but had enough people to keep things interesting.
The sign at the GPS station between Rowe and Gunstock is interesting - it starts "This station is part of a network of over 875 stations installed across the western United States ...". I didn't know I hiked that far today.
