| | Date of Hike: | Saturday, July 4, 2020 | | | | | Parking/Access Road Notes: | 7 cars on arrival and 20 when I left at the rt 16 trailhead. | | | | | Surface Conditions: | Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Significant | | | | | Recommended Equipment: | | | | | | Water Crossing Notes: | The 5 crossings were moderately difficult. | | | | | Trail Maintenance Notes: | Rocky branch from the HOL down to almost the first crossing was a river. Isolation had lots of mud and water and a tough stretch of blowdowns higher up. Davis path is a mess of water and mud and useless bog bridges. The first 2 miles of the hike were about the best and short stretches on the other trails too. | | | | | Dog-Related Notes: | 7 dogs and 46 other hikers. | | | | | Bugs: | just occasional! | | | | | Lost and Found: | a headband which I put on trailhead sign. | | |

| | | | Comments: | Very tough hike with all the problems as described above. Fortunately it was a beautiful day with a lot of happy hikers out and about. Met 2 guys doing the same project as I am. That was a first. Anyway, I now have 30 of the 48 finished at 70! | | | | | Name: | jack from littleton | | | | | E-Mail: | jsbarry@roadrunner.com | | | | | Date Submitted: | 2020-07-05 | | | | | Link: | https:// | | | | Disclaimer: Reports are not verified - conditions may vary.
