What a beautiful day for a challenging hike! The elevation gain and lost and gain and lost again is no joke but you are definitely rewarded with views that do not stop! The trail goes through a significant section of pretty intense mud on the Davis Path and some running water here and there on the trail. With such a great day, the summit was pretty full but long stretches would go by without seeing anyone. Saw a couple very young boys on the summit which was awesome. Also two people who just finished Isolation as their 48th Woot Woot!!! |
