| Comments: |
Grey sky, but high ceiling. Very wet and muddy below 2500', things starting to freeze up above 2500'. Not a ton of ice, but some. Used microspikes for about 100 yards just below the top of Orange Mt, didn't need them anywhere else, but the upper part of the Manning Trail is a little sketchy. No snow this morning, but could change quick. Lots of coyote tracks in the mud, heard one howling too. Managed to sneak up on a young moose on the Skyland Trail, stomped in the mud a few times before heading into the woods. |
