 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Success Pond Road for roughly the first mile is pretty gnarly. We drove a VW Tiguan and a Toyota truck down there. No problems. Being Sunday and it raining all day we only saw one 4 wheeler and couple others in trucks. Use caution as you need to cross over and back to avoid larger holes/mud puddles. |
 | Surface Conditions: |
Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Significant |
 | Recommended Equipment: |
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
No real bad crossings. Some standing puddles are deep mud pockets. Apparently they are eating boots. |
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail is in fantastic shape. Trail markers are very faint, but easy follow. |
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
I imagine the only tough spot for a dog would be the small chimney kinda section. Gonna have to help your furry friend |
 | Bugs: |
There were a few at the start. Nothing bothersome. But we thank the rain for that. |
