Water Crossing Notes: water running high but done with only one boot slipping in

Trail Maintenance Notes: quite a few blowdowns on Red Ridge before reaching treeline and also on Moat Mt. trail approaching North Moat

Dog-Related Notes: saw "Alaska" on the Red Ridge/Moat Mt. jct. 
Bugs
Bugs: terrible this AM and PM especially below treeline both skeeters and black flies and at summit, small black beetles with 2 red spots crawling all over stuff and us

Comments: clouds broke just as we broke treeline, so the views were there; very humid day so we worked pretty hard..ledges descending were slippery and caution needed...
