water running high but done with only one boot slipping in |

quite a few blowdowns on Red Ridge before reaching treeline and also on Moat Mt. trail approaching North Moat |

saw "Alaska" on the Red Ridge/Moat Mt. jct. |

terrible this AM and PM especially below treeline both skeeters and black flies and at summit, small black beetles with 2 red spots crawling all over stuff and us |

clouds broke just as we broke treeline, so the views were there; very humid day so we worked pretty hard..ledges descending were slippery and caution needed... |
