All fine. Good flow in all streams and healthy water levels in lakes and ponds. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
One or two blowdowns across 16 miles. Some overgrown sections on both Brooks trails but no big deal. |

Zoey did well. Plenty of water for her. |

Gnats on the summit. |

Camera battery at the DC-3 crash site. Brought it home to be recycled. |

Peabody Brook Trail is beautiful! This loops was a nice mix of falls, lakes, alpine veg, aircraft history and views. Saw 10 people around the Success summit area. Other than that there 3 others.
There are other options that what is in Fanconia Notch, off the Kanc, and at Appalachia. Great to read everyone's creative and unique hikes on this forum. |
