It seems that the Howker ridge trail is little used. Appalachia was packed, the Howker Ridge lot had one car when we got there. |

None were difficult |

All trails were in good shape with the exception of the Brookside trail. That stretch was a little rough. |

| Comments: |
This is a great route up Madison. The Howker Ridge Trail is one pleasant surprise after another. The Watson Path isn't the easiest way off Madison, but the views are good until the tree line.
The Kelton trail is well built and a very enjoyable woods walk. |
